In accordance with http://drupal.org/node/83124#comment-139112, the order of members and subgroups in a tree is flipped.  Also, inaccessibility of a group to a user is handled better.

Fixed the bug reported in http://drupal.org/node/82298 #2 and (same bug) http://drupal.org/project/comments/add/82375 #1.

In response to the bug report filed in http://drupal.org/node/82298, I modified og_subgroups_get_effective_groups to return groups as arrays.

I've created this module to provide subgroups for organic groups.  This is my first time using CVS or contributing to Drupal, and this is the first draft release of this module.
