Move the configuration generation into a single sensible function and fix an issue on the static block configation page that was showing the wrong language data.

Rename update function to match the current module version. I know the api says don't rename update functions but this shouldn't hurt anything as we're just validating some variables. Rerunning won't cause trouble. Verified this.

fixes issue #1664410 - use boolean values for show_faces option. We'll store a boolean variable as well that way if the api changes again we don't have to write update hooks and change values, just the output.
